As the Director of Account Management you will lead our growing account management team in Baltimore and Mountain View. You will provide the vision and leadership that will inspire your team as the company continues to scale. You will own both client retention and upsell opportunities, and you will be a key part of drchrono’s growth organization as you lead your team to consistently exceed goals.

In the role you will...

  • Become a drchrono product expert and learn to masterfully demonstrate the entire drchrono platform from Patient portal through the iPad EHR.
  • Lead, inspire, coach, manage and motivate our account management team.
  • Attract, hire and develop the best account management talent
  • Act as client contact for escalated issue resolution
  • Ability to lead from the front to handle numerous accounts concurrently, producing and communicating accurate forecast reports
  • You are solutions oriented and can execute quickly in a fast paced environment.
  • Build on an established culture of hard work, energy, fun, positivity and accountability.

You have...

  • 5+ years of sales or account management experience.
  • Experience mentoring junior Account Management team members to train them on sales and relationship building techniques.
  • Experience building and leading high performing account management teams - responsible for both retention and upsell.
  • A passion for healthcare and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Experience interacting with both Support and VP of Sales
  • Proficiency with customer success tools & software (Zendesk, Salesforce, Gainsight, Totango, jira, etc)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus!
  • You are a highly intelligent and effective sales leader who can effectively move initiatives forward both internally, and with clients.
