Important Updates regarding COVID-19

Last updated January 22, 2021

DrChrono is taking the impact of COVID-19 seriously. We’ve moved quickly to implement the following policies, software updates and partner offerings to ensure the safety of all employees, providers and patients.

We will continue to monitor updates from the CDC and medical advisors, which will be reflected on our website and via e-mail.

Adding the COVID-19 Vaccination (Category I New SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine Codes) to the Patient Chart

As of January 15, 2021, DrChrono users are now able to document COVID-19 immunity and the administration of the COVID-19 vaccinations from Moderna (100 mcg/0.5mL dose CVX Code: 207), Pfizer BioTech (30mcg/0.3 mL dose CVX Code: 208) and AstraZeneca (0.5mL CVX Code: 210). Learn more here.

Access the Medical Form to Screen Patients for COVID-19

Your practice should import this comprehensive questionnaire to screen patients for coronavirus. The template includes travel questions, symptom reporting, as well as links to up-to-date CDC notices and global case tracking. You must first log-in to your account and download the form. Once downloaded it will appear in the form builder section under the additional tab.

Stay Informed on Prevention & Tracking Updates

We encourage everyone, from providers to business owners and employees, to stay up-to-date on the latest information from the CDC regarding travel notices and prevention & treatment information for healthcare professionals. Experts urge individuals to minimize exposure by washing hands often, regularly cleaning surfaces and avoiding frequent contact with eyes and mouth.

You can also track the location of confirmed and active cases within the United States using the Johns Hopkins Interactive tracking map.

Keeping Employees Safe

DrChrono has instituted a work-from-home policy and closed all physical office locations for the time being. This is meant to ensure the safety of our employees while continuing to perform at 100% operational capacity. However, we have committed to providing all employees with the necessary tools and support to perform their work from home without any disruption.
